White Sox Sign George Kottaras
The Chicago White Sox signed catcher George Kottaras to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training. Kottaras, 31, has played in 313 career games for the Boston Red Sox, Milwaukee Brewers, Oakland Athletics, Kansas City Royals, Cleveland Indians, St. Louis Cardinals, and Toronto Blue Jays. He has a career batting average of .215 with 32 home runs and 101 runs batted in.
