Astros Sign Jed Lowrie
The Houston Astros signed infielder Jed Lowrie to a three-year contract with an option for the 2018 season. Lowrie, 30, has played in 643 career games for the Boston Red Sox, Houston Astros, and Oakland Athletics. He has a career batting average of .261 with 56 home runs and 284 runs batted in.
