Padres Sign Brett Wallace
The San Diego Padres signed first baseman Brett Wallace to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training. Wallace, 28, has played in 311 career games for the Houston Astros. He has a career batting average of .242 with 29 home runs and 102 runs batted in.
