Rangers Sign Three to Minors Deals
The Texas Rangers signed outfielder Antoan Richardson and pitchers Anthony Bass and Ross Wolf to minor league contracts with invitations to spring training. Richardson, 31, has played in 22 games with the Atlanta Braves and New York Yankees. He has a career batting average of .350 with no home runs and one run batted in. Bass, 27, has pitched in 96 career games for the San Diego Padres and Houston Astros. He has a career record of (5-9) with a 4.37 ERA and three saves. He pitched one complete game in the 2012 season for the Padres. Wolf, 32, has pitched in 47 career games for the Florida Marlins, Oakland Athletics, and Texas Rangers. He has a career record of (1-4) with a 5.45 ERA.
