Reds Sign Three to Minors Deals

The Cincinnati Reds signed infielder Ivan De Jesus, outfielder Jermaine Curtis, and pitcher Nate Adcock (pictured) to minor league contracts with invitations to spring training. De Jesus, 27, has played in 48 career games for the Los Angeles Dodgers and Boston Red Sox. He has a career batting average of .205 with no home runs and five runs batted in. Curtis, also 27, made his Major League debut with the St. Louis Cardinals in 2013. In five games, he hit .000 with no home runs and no runs batted in. Adcock, 27 in February, has pitched in 43 career games for the Kansas City Royals and Texas Rangers. He has a career record of (1-4) with a 3.86 ERA and one save.
