White Sox Sign Melky Cabrera
The Chicago White Sox signed outfielder Melky Cabrera to a three-year contract worth $42 million. Cabrera, 30, has played in 1211 career games for the New York Yankees, Atlanta Braves, Kansas City Royals, San Francisco Giants, and Toronto Blue Jays. He has a career batting average of .286 with 88 home runs and 520 runs batted in. He was an All Star selection and a World Series champion in 2012 as a member of the Giants.
