Nationals Sign Heath Bell
The Washington Nationals signed pitcher Heath Bell to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training. Bell, 37, has pitched in 590 career games for the New York Mets, San Diego Padres, Miami Marlins, Arizona Diamondbacks, and Tampa Bay Rays. He has a career record of (38-32) with a 3.49 ERA and 168 saves. He is also a three-time All Star.
