Yankees Re-Sign Chase Headley
The New York Yankees signed infielder Chase Headley to a four-year extension in which he could make $56 million. Headley, 30, has played in 966 career games for the San Diego Padres and New York Yankees. He has a career batting average of .265 with 93 home runs and 418 runs batted in. He won a Rawlings Gold Glove and a Silver Slugger Award in 2012 as a member of the Padres.
