Blue Jays Sign Andrew Albers
The Toronto Blue Jays signed pitcher Andrew Albers to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training. Albers, 29, made his Major League debut for the Minnesota Twins in 2013. In 10 games, he compiled a record of (2-5) with a 4.05 ERA. He also pitched a complete-game shutout.
