Rays Sign Asdrubal Cabrera
The Tampa Bay Rays signed infielder Asdrubal Cabrera to a one-year contract. Cabrera, 29, has played in 963 career games for the Cleveland Indians and Washington Nationals. He has a career batting average of .268 with 87 home runs and 451 runs batted in. He was selected to the All Star Game in 2011 and 2012. He also won a Silver Slugger Award in 2011.
