Orioles Sign Three to Minors Deals
The Baltimore Orioles signed outfielder Matt Tuiasosopo and pitchers Jesse Beal and Chaz Roe to minor league contracts with invitations to spring training. Tuiasosopo, 28, has played in 152 career games for the Seattle Mariners and Detroit Tigers. He has a career batting average of .207 with 12 home runs and 45 runs batted in. Beal, 24, spent the 2014 season with the Frederick Keys, Baltimore's Class-A affiliate. In 23 games, he compiled a record of (2-1) with a 3.48 ERA and four saves. Roe, 28, has pitched in 24 career games for the Arizona Diamondbacks and New York Yankees. He has a career record of (1-0) with a 4.44 ERA.
